Alumni Relations

The Alumni Relations sub-subcommittee is devoted to keeping MSC FISH alumni active in the organization as well as connecting the freshmen to the alumni network. This sub-sub will be in charge of the big sib program which pairs freshmen members to “Old School FISH” current students who were freshmen in the MSC FISH in years pasts. Alumni Relations is also responsible for the mentorship program which connects freshmen with alumni of both MSC FISH and Texas A&M that can help them both personally and professionally by providing insight into specific careers and more! The freshmen in this subcommittee will improve their ability to write emails and stay in contact with the alumni network.

Community

The Community sub-subcommittee focuses on developing MSC Unity and external involvement within MSC FISH. This includes fostering relationships with different MSC organizations and creating external service opportunities such as First Friday Booths and mini service opportunities. In addition, this sub-sub also has the opportunity to organize multiple profit shares with local businesses, as well as updating our alumni on MSC FISH through Newsletters. Freshmen in this sub-sub have the opportunity to create unity and form a community within the MSC as a whole along with our community with the mini programs we get to put on!
