MSC FISH exists as a programming committee within the Memorial Student Center. Our goal is to “serve the Texas A&M community by delivering campus-wide programs.”

Check out the programs, including FLO Bowl, Run The Ramps, and Kyle Field Day, some of the largest freshman-led programs on campus!

Service & Hosting’s Programs

  • Isaiah’s Place

Freshmen have the opportunity of serving at Isaiah’s Place, a camp for the deaf, twice a year. Volunteers do a variety of tasks from putting up/taking down decorations, yardwork, clearing paths, etc.

  • Camp For All

Camp For All is a camp for children and adults with disabilities. We volunteer there twice a year, helping with activities such as serving meals, fishing, horseback riding, and ziplining.

  • Winter Service Retreat

Winter Service Retreat is a retreat that all members attend before Spring semester. We go to a retreat center, volunteer there and then spend the rest of the time doing team building activities and growing closer.

Outreach’s Programs

  • Big Sib Program

Every freshman is paired with a former member in our Big Sib program. With each of the pairings grouped into a “Family of Fish” (FOF), the Big Sib programs gives our members another chance to develop lasting friendships.

  • Deck the Dining Halls

At the end of the fall semester, we make decorations and gifts to show our appreciation for the many people working in the dining halls across campus.

  • 20th Anniversary

MSC FISH is turning 20! With the golden birthday approaching, a coalition of alumni and current members are hosting a birthday reunion celebration.

Development’s Programs

  • 12 for 24

We will be hosting our first ever 12-hour marathon, coined 12 for 24. This is an online, 12-hour competition hosted through Zoom and will be open to all FLOs on campus where they will be competing in an array of fun and exciting games! Not only will there be friendly competition but also meaningful, informative presentations from service organizations will be included. At the end of the 12 hours MSC FISH will crown the winners of the event and receive a prize!

  • FLO Bowl

FLO Bowl is an exciting powderpuff, flag football tournament event attracting the vast majority of Freshman Leadership Organizations (FLOs) on campus. Click to learn more.

  • Run the Ramps

Run the Ramps is an incredibly unique 5K, 3.5K, and 1.5K throughout the concourse and track of Texas A&M University’s stadium, Kyle Field, that creates a one-of-a-kind Aggie experience for every runner that participates. Click to learn more.

Kyle Field Day’s Programs

  • Share Your Service

The Share Your Service Campaign aims to bring the mission of Kyle Field Day to campus throughout the course of the year! SYS booths are interactive, where passerby students can openly and easily participate in projects benefiting local nonprofits and other organizations. These booths occur roughly every other week and are usually held in Rudder Plaza.

  • Service FLO Down

We look forward to fostering networking and community between Freshman Leadership Organizations through the shared core value of service. All FLOs are invited to plan and help host their own small-scale service project at this event on campus, with each project going towards a cause of their choice.

  • Kyle Field Day

KFD is a one day service event held in the concourse of the one and only Kyle Field. The service done at KFD can be broken down into two types of projects, booth projects and anchor projects. Past KFDs have included live music, appearances from special guests such as Yell Leaders and Reveille, food trucks, and other activities to guarantee a day full of service and fun. Click to learn mor
